Radstock and Westfield Big Local worked together in partnership with Victoria Hall, Alun Griffiths Ltd, Somer Valley FM, Bath and North East Somerset and Radstock Town Council to create an amazing afternoon of family fun. The Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band, Westfield Ladies’ Choir and Church and School Choirs each took their turn in entertaining us, with Dom Chambers filling in the gaps as compere.
We ran a Town Trail competition to bring people to the local shops, where people spotted robins in the shop windows and wrote down their names on the entry form. Hundreds of people took part and the winner won a fabulous hamper of goodies from the local retailers.
Radstock and Westfield Big Local had a stall, giving out glow-sticks and minced pies. We had many productive conversations to raise awareness of who we are and what we do.
