Youth Connect South West have reported on their Dragons’ Den project to purchase dj equipment and run an event:
Radstock fair- Over the day about 100 people accessed the head phones and two young people monitored the space. Young people also got to DJ and thought that was fun, it was more focused in the doing than skills. Many young people enjoyed the fact it was part of the festival but also desperate as only they could hear. It was positive!
The headphones have enhanced wellbeing sessions for local yp and the youth service has also used the set for fun nights for yp across the Somer valley area. 100’s of yp have been positively impacted and will continue to be so as we will continue to use the kit in wellbeing and youth hub activities.
