We’re pleased to have been able to fund P.E.O.P.L.E charity from our Small Fund grant pot, to run a couple of community events in the lead up to xmas, bringing local people together as we start to recover from the pandemic era!
P.E.O.P.L.E report: The bingo sessions went really well. We had two events, with approximately 60 people. The participants had an excellent time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves! It was lovely to hear people laugh and chat and join in with the fun, particularly after the devastation of lockdown. We had a cross section of participants, those in senior years, young mums, people with learning and physical disabilities, and residents of the community with non specific needs. We had both men and women which was lovely. Everyone enjoyed the events and most people went away with a prize. It was heart- warming to hear people ask for more events. We were very well supported by the MNRJ and local sources who advertised for us. Events took place in both Westfield and Radstock.
