The Radstock & Westfield Big Local run a grant giving event, called Dragons’ Den. This is where individuals and organisations who have an idea of how to make our area an even better place to live, pitch to the audience of local residents who then decide what projects they want to see happen in the community. Each winner is awarded £500 to bring their idea to life.

Singing their Praises – Westfield Ladies Choir Win!

Westfield Ladies Choir have made great use of their newly purchased song sheets – courtesy of the Radstock and Westfield Big Local. Hang It Project

The project involved 31 Year 6 pupils from St Nicholas and St Mary’s School Writhlington and the Victoria Hall Radstock.  The project reached less children than originally envisaged because the schools decided to target the project at Year 6 and numbers were low in this year group.
