Thank you to Jenny at PEOPLE charity, who has reported that the Pots and Potter Project is now complete. They won funding at our 9th Dragons’ Den to run a gardening project for mental health at Leigh House in Radstock. This was a project where people could come along, do a bit of relaxed gardening, sit, have a cuppa and biscuit, and enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Jenny says:
“The project has brought to the benefit of the community to have an outside space to partake in activities that otherwise would not have been available. It had been particularly beneficial to those who were isolated, who were facing mental health and anxiety problems in a safe and non-threatening environment, a relaxing and peaceful environment has enabled everyone the time and space to enjoy nature and benefit from the advice of knowledgeable practitioners.”
