We’re pleased to have been able to work with Radstock Town Council and many enthusiastic volunteers to save the Radstock Foodies Club from extinction!
When the company that ran it had to pull out due to resource issues, it was fortunate that, due to good planning, our organisation had the capacity and skills to step in and partner with Radstock Town Council to keep the Foodies Club going.
The Radstock Foodies Club provides a service to local people who are struggling to access healthy food. After a year and many happy members, we were able to identify a better placed organisation to take on the project into the longer term.
We handed over to Mercy In Action, who, with the support of the volunteers who have been present all the way through, have many plans for developing it further to help meet the need of local people.
