We’re pleased that our Small Grant to SWALLOW Charity enabled them to get back together after such a horrible couple of years during the Covid-19 crisis. Here’s what they had to say on the party:
“It was a wonderful event – it had a Jubilee Theme as it was just before the Queen’s Jubilee, we asked participants to come in red, white and blue and we decorated the café and outside with bunting. It was the first time that so many people had come together since before the pandemic and everyone was so pleased to be together with their friends again.
In total 77 people attended, including members, staff and Trustees. We played games and celebrated with a special Zumba session on the courts at the front of the café. The café served burgers and hotdogs and cake.”
