The good folk at Larch Court Allotments were successful in their pitch to our Dragons’ Den 9, winning £500 to help make their paths around the allotments more accessible.. They’ve been in touch to let us know how they got on:
“We are so pleased with our new pathways that you have kindly enabled us to complete with the funding you awarded us towards the project. They have made an amazing difference to everyone at the allotments and the local community who have started to pop in and can safely access via the improved pathways. They have enabled disabled access and people have already been round on their disability scooters whereas before the allotments were inaccessible due to the poor condition of the pathways. We look forward to welcoming more people in the future and have plans for maybe a community day, which is very exciting!”
