The Radstock Scouts group won at our Dragons’ Den 8, and have compiled this report:
Thank you once again for the fantastic grant of £500 which you gave us to go towards purchasing a cooker for our hall. We were very fortunate to be offered one from a local Food Machinery Service for £504 which was actually worth more than this. The cooker has been installed in the kitchen and it is a dream compared to the one we had previously. It allows us to now have all sections on at the same time, as opposed to deciding which of the working parts you wanted to use. We can now successfully cook a full English for 30 people which is wonderful.
With this cooker installed we now have better facilities to offer our hall hirers from the local community.
We acknowledged your generous donation via our secure email to parents, on our facebook page and also made mention of this at our recent AGM.
