PARC Skate School CIC Delivers Successful Community Skate Project Thanks to £1,000 Big Local Funding
PARC Skate School CIC is proud to announce the successful completion of its Community Skate Sessions in Radstock and Westfield, made possible by a £1,000 grant from Radstock and Westfield Big Local.
The funding supported the delivery of inclusive skateboarding sessions for local children and young people, helping to increase physical activity, build confidence, and create positive social connections. The project also invested into Skateboard GB training, First Aid Training strengthening the quality, safety, and long-term sustainability of coaching provision within the community.
Participants developed new skills, improved resilience, and gained confidence in a supportive and structured environment. Parents praised the sessions for providing a safe, engaging activity that promotes both physical and mental wellbeing.
PARC Skate School CIC would like to thank Radstock and Westfield Big Local for their support in helping make skateboarding more accessible to local young people.
