Helping Radstock celebrate the Xmas season!

Radstock and Westfield Big Local were heavily involved in helping to bring people together to make the Radstock Town Council Xmas Lights Switch On a fun-filled community event. Funding for WAGS put to good use

Rock Guitar Rocks

On 21st June, Rock Guitar School gave free rock guitar taster sessions at the Victoria Hall in Radstock. This was funded by Radstock & Westfield Big Local, where Rock Guitar School was voted one of the winners by local residents at the last Big Local “Dragons Den”. Free Business Workshops Delivered

The Big Local Radstock and Westfield team organised two free business workshops for people from Radstock and Westfield, delivered by professional business advisor, Geoff Bartlett. Hang It Project

The project involved 31 Year 6 pupils from St Nicholas and St Mary’s School Writhlington and the Victoria Hall Radstock. The project reached less children than originally envisaged because the schools decided to target the project at Year 6 and numbers were low in this year group.
