WAGS DD7 winnings help create new allotment site
The land behind the garages at Larch Court until April in 2019 was a patch of unused waste ground, it has now been turned into allotments for the local people surrounding the area, and it’s bringing people together for a common cause.
Hope House Helps Sugar Smart Campaign
We awarded Hope House just under £500 to purchase scales with height measure for the residents of Radstock to be able to regularly check their weight/BMI accurately. Youth Connect Supports Sugar Smart
We awarded Youth Connect £500 to deliver training to young people over the course of 15 cooking sessions. The sessions were held at Radstock and Westfield Youth clubs focusing on low sugar and healthy eating. 45 young people took part in the cooking activities, however a lot more young people took part in the eating
